These terms apply to the Stepdy app for iPhone and Apple Watch and to Stepdy Pro. By downloading or using Stepdy you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Stepdy is made by Faruk Mert Kapar, an independent developer in Türkiye ("we").
Stepdy has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content that breaks the content rules below is removed and the person responsible is banned, within 24 hours of a report.
Stepdy is a step counter with social features: rankings, friends, groups, chat, races and a Feed. It is a fitness and motivation product. It is not a medical device and gives no medical advice. Step, distance, energy and heart-rate figures are estimates from your devices' sensors and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on Stepdy for any medical or diagnostic purpose, and talk to a qualified professional before changing how active you are.
Stepdy has no sign-up. It creates an account for you in the background, with random sign-in details kept in your iCloud Keychain, and groups, chat and races also use your iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit. You are responsible for what is done under your profile and for keeping your Apple Account secure. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if that is higher.

You are responsible for the content you create: your display name, username, profile photo, group names, chat messages, and the posts, captions, photos and comments you share. Only post photos you took or have the right to share; by posting one you allow Stepdy to store it and show it to the people you chose, until you delete it. The following is not allowed and will be removed:
Reporting and blocking. Every message, post, comment and profile in Stepdy can be reported from its menu. Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours: offending content is removed and the person who posted it is banned. You can also block anyone at once; blocking hides their messages, posts and comments and removes them from the boards you see, without waiting for a review.
Stepdy also filters obviously abusive language automatically, but no filter is perfect; please report anything it misses.
You can stop using Stepdy at any time and delete your data by tapping your profile picture on the Steps screen, then Delete account & data. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, in particular the acceptable use and content rules.
Stepdy is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. It depends on Apple's CloudKit, Google Firebase, RevenueCat and TelemetryDeck, and may be unavailable or delayed, or lose data. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Stepdy in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Stepdy or its content, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms. Your use of Stepdy must also follow the App Store's terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
